On a recent visit to Tahiti, my wife and I discovered Monoi de Tahiti, a traditional, naturally produced oil, with some wonderful properties. We experienced the product during the massage process at one of the first class spas near the island of Taha’a. In addition to being a general moisturizer, the product is also capable of adding body to hair. Although virtual unknown here in Canada, European women have been aware of Monoi’s ability for some time.
Since returning to Canada, my wife started using Monoi as a daily moisturizer and abandoned a myriad of other products she had used over the years. We also distributed the product to about 40 friends and the feedback from these people was terrific, with many reporting significant improvement in various dry skin conditions. We imported the product in bulk and had it co-packed and labelled here in Toronto. We feel the product is a good fit with today’s marketplace. It is not “the latest new thing”, Polynesians have been using it for over 2000 years. It is a natural product made from coconut oil scented with gardenia flowers, no Parabens, no SLS.
